Vetmedin 1.25 mg Pimobendan
Vetmedin primer miembro en cardiología veterinaria de la clase de fármacos, llamados inodilatadores, consigue su efecto terapéutico al actuar a dos niveles, sobre el corazón y sobre la circulación general.
Vetmedin consigue una acción global, aumentando la contractilidad cardiaca y mejorando la circulación al producir una vasodilatación coronaria y periférica, que consigue una mejora de la eficiencia del corazón sin incrementar las necesidades del mismo.
INDICACIONES
DOSIS:
Administre a un rango de 0.2 mg a 0.6 mg de Pimobendan por Kg de peso por día; divida en 2 tomas o administraciones (mañana y noche), por lo menos 1 hora antes de cada alimento.

ADVERTENCIAS:
- Vetmedin 1,25 mg cápsulas no se debe administrar en casos de cardiomiopatías hipertróficas o condiciones clínicas donde no sea posible un aumento del gasto cardíaco debido a condiciones funcionales o anatómicas (p.ej. estenosis aórtica).
- Como pimobendán se metaboliza en el hígado, no debe utilizarse en perros que padecen insuficiencia hepática grave.
- No usar en caso de hipersensibilidad al principio activo o a alguno de los excipientes.
